Today Maggie is sixteen years old.

Happy birthday, sweetest and most sarcastic of cats. You joined me two weeks after I moved out, and have made my adult life richer and infinitely warmer. You did the same for my husband, and now you love and teach my son, as well. Here’s to plenty more quality years spent together.
