Thoughts on Magic or Madness? I’ve been hearing many good things. Also, thoughts on the Jane Austen tarot? (Though I imagine there will be a review eventually)

The Larbustier books are really good. I have the first two, and I’ll have the third by next week if you want to borrow them.

A review? Yes indeed, coming your way for the WG deadline as a matter of fact. The short: neat idea, a curiosity for JA fans, however: costuming in the art wildly out of period, creation of scenes that didn’t happen in the novel (but might have) for certain the cards, a poorly edited and laid-out book. Interesting literary analysis in conjunction with the scenes depicted in the cards, but too much of projection in it (i.e. no pure textual proof for much of it). I’m not a fan of the art, personally. I’ve yet to try a reading with it, but I’m fairly certain it won’t go very well just from my relationship with the art, thus remaining a curiosity rather than a tool.
