Wow. What a completely miserable night.
And this morning hasn’t been much better.
On the more humourous side of things Liam ate live grass, dead grass, a dead leaf, an ant, and a handful of sand at the park yesterday, on top of his rice rusks, apples, and water.
You’d think Liam would sleep better on such a full stomach. Free-range ants…yummy!
(I’ve been there with Ben. A week was about as long as it took for the new routine to take hold.)
I bet he thought the dead leaf was a rice rusk. It probably tasted better:-}
Well, Mom always said you had to eat a peck a’ dirt before you die.
She didn’t mention the ants, though.
Thanks, Steve. It’s just more than ironic that the day I decided to do this, all his naps after the early morning one went wonky and he woke up five times last night instead of the usual once.
Mmm. Roughage.
And protein!
Well, he’s a growing boy. He needs to eat his weight in raw lawn components monthly, or else he turns into a pumpkin. One of those ceramic ones, with a little ceramic cat curled around it.
…
Yeah, I worry about my brain sometimes too.
Sometime let me regale you with the tale of Ben Eats The Beach. The lifeguard called him “The Sandeater” for the rest of the summer. Veeery interesting (and highly abrasive) diaper change. he was quite happy tho.
