It is probably a bad thing that I want a glass of red wine this early in the day.
Although I am listening to a recording of Pieter Wispelwey playing the Bach gamba sonatas that a friend of the friends-in-same-circles kind of acquaintance lent to me (among a veritable pile of other recordings), and it is doing wonders to keep me from throwing myself over the edge of the cliff into madness. Thanks, Tina!
I’ve already had a Woodchuck cider.
Meant to tell you, during my drive last night the radio announcer mentioned Gould, which made me think of you which made me happy. So you were the happy thought that let me fly safely into work. Thanks.
Right then, a glass of wine it is.
Really? I will accept that right gladly. Yay me, yay you, and yay radio host for talking about Glenn Gould.
I’m reasonably certain we had wine this early, if not earlier, at several of our writing jams.
You are absolutely right. Usually later, but there were the odd days where it was necessary.
Oh please, 2:00 is WELL past time for drinking.
If it ever hits you just after breakfast, though, maybe want to talk to someone about that.
