I give up. 471 new words; one new page. Mostly descriptive, and will very certainly be rewritten when the project reaches that stage, because it reads like a bad synopsis of something that should be (a) much longer, and (b) much more moving.
Bah. I will blame the humidity. (Also, perhaps I should have consumed more than an avocado dressed with balsamic vinegar for lunch, and a glass of white wine mid-afternoon. Lots of water, too, of course, that should go without saying.)
I had that same lunch 2 days ago!
Ah! The Lady of Shalott. I win! I’ll take cookies over cash prizes any day. ;)
Anyway, I’m glad I found your blog. ^_^ Thanks for the help with the pickup.
Donna: It took me a long time before I could enjoy avocados; they were too rich for me as a child, and then I just never thought to try them again. The last year a friend served one to me, with a little bit of really good imported olive oil in the hollow. Yum! The olive oil I currently have wasn’t up to par so I tried the balsamic vinegar instead, and it’s even better than the oil!
And Maddie, you’re welcome for the info about the pickup. It’s expensive but worth every penny.
