My family and I went up to the lookout in Westmount to greet the sunrise (yes–at five o’clock!!). Apart from the fact that it was very very cold, the sky was perfectly clear, and it was a lovely experience watching the sun come up over the trees, with the birds singing madly all the while. The hot coffee and blueberry scones only added to the enjoyment!
