At this time of year, the stores are always massively overstocked, so there just isn't enough room/time/staff to get everything out of the back. They may have it in shipping. Yes to an afternoon-to-evening gathering next year! The tricky part is scheduling things on the weekend that close to Yule/solstice. We’ll see what we can do! Thanks for being so flexible as to locale; when the kids are older, maybe we could even do it sleepover style: put the kids to bed when they get tired, and then jam all night . . . or until the neighbors complain/we collapse with exhaustion!
